Head Of Marketing at Aliaxis UK Building and Sanitary
2012 - April 2014 | Lenham, KentFollowing Hunter Plastics relocation & integration on the Lenham site, I created a united team of six and together we manage the marketing communication and management of some of the best brands in our industry - Hunter, Marley and Multikwik. These high quality brands are well respected internationally and as the person accountable for the worldwide Trade Mark registrations, I work hard to ensure we protect our brand equity and intellectual property from inferior counterfeit products. Each Aliaxis brand has a differing product range and have a different customer mix, however, all of our brands have one thing in common, a customer service culture at their heart. Whilst I would never claim that I alone achieved this success I'm proud that I was part of a business that won "Best Supplier" awards from three major industry players and on no less than three occasions won the coveted industry Builders Merchant News Best Supplier Award. My team and I are responsible for managing and influencing marketing and promotional budgets spread across our combined market segments and distribution networks. In recent years and in an ever increasing cost conscious environment I have identified innovative solutions that have allowed budgets to go further and have delivered a proven enhancement to the customer experience.

Marketing Manager at Hunter Plastics Limited
2000 - 2012 | Woolwich, LondonDuring my 12 years at Hunter Plastics, my career developed in many ways, expanding my knowledge and understanding in the areas of commercial, marketing and product management. This has allowed me to gain a wider perspective on the projects I lead. As a result, I adopt a management approach of involving and engaging wherever possible, as experience has shown a motivated and determined team make the difference between project success and failure. One of the elements of my role as Marketing Manager at Hunter that I am exceptionally proud of is, the development and transformation of my team. Managing a team of six that were not historically from a Marketing background, I coached them in brand development and management.
